In 2018, Mitchell Ford began searching for members to put together a band that he could travel the state with, hoping to leave their mark on the Texas Music Scene. Not just a band, but a band of brothers that can light any stage up is what Mitchell was able to construct. They reel in any audience with an upbeat and high energy presence, that you'll just have to see for yourself.
First on board, lead guitarist, Mason O'Brien brings a heavy rock-influenced guitar style with a dark tone that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Trevor Marshall lays down the rhythm on bass guitar, with a bluesy rock style that can engulf any room. The newest Volunteer, Deion Marquise, brings an energetic and soulful blues style drumming into the mix. With each style of play, Mitchell Ford and the Volunteers give you a unique sound that will leave you wanting more.
In May 2019, Mitchell and the Volunteers released their debut single "Think of You" recorded at The Boohatch Studio in Ada, Oklahoma. A few months later their self-titled EP was released, which captured themes of relationships, bad decisions and heartbreak. The group is set to release their newest single "Lonely Town" in February of 2020.
